Christian Atheism…
Craig Groeschel asks a great question “Are you a Christian Atheist?”
Christian Atheist you say? What on Earth is that?
Well someone who says they believe in God but live like he doesn’t exist… now before you say “well that’s not me” could say yes to any of the following?
When you believe in God but don’t really know him
When you believe in God but are ashamed of your past
When you believe in God but aren’t sure he loves you
When you believe in God but not in prayer
When you believe in God but don’t think he’s fair
When you believe in god but won’t forgive
When you believe in God but don’t think you can change.
When you believe in God but worry all the time
When you believe in God but pursue happiness at any cost
When you believe in God but trust more in money
When you believe in God but don’t share your faith
When you believe in God but not his church
If any of these strike a chord with you? If so you could be a Christian atheist… or at least may have Christian Atheist tendencies and habits.
Look… this is not a plug for Craig Groeschel’s book called “Christian Atheist” but it was a good read… if anything about the list above is a reminder… how easy it can be to slip into a Christian Atheist mindset…
Look at the list again and really ask yourself… am I a Christian Atheist
